Before printing my negatives we went through a process of steps:
first we checked to see if we had any water spots if so we cleaned them.
We dipped our negatives into photo flow for about 15 seconds, after that we wiped them down with photo wipes.
after we cleaned then we loaded them into the enlarger to see what size or how big we wanted our picture to look. After getting our size that we wanted we had to use the focus knob to control our picture's focus. We focused it until we saw little crystals.
After all done with focusing we had bring the aperture down, to make it a little bit more dim. We brought it down to not the darkest but to pretty close.
As we got everything, i was almost done. I had to do a test print to make sure i got the timing of the light exposure good. For the first time we exposed the whole strip to about 4 seconds.
After that we only exposed 1/4 of the stript to about 5 seconds, then we did half of the strip for 6 seconds, and then we did the rest for 7 seconds.
After that we took it through the steps of processing the photo.
We put it in the developer for a minute, then the stop bath for a good 15 seconds, then the fixer, and then the wash.
Once we figured out how much time our picture should be exposed to light we then were ready for the final print.
My photo was exposed for 6 seconds. After all that we took it through the same process and our picture was done.
